FAQ: the questions that decide whether this is the right game
Short answers first, evidence second. If a number is not published by the developer and not tested here, this page says so instead of inventing it.
Is this the Roblox game?
No. This page covers 99 Nights: Forest Escape (bloxd.io), an externally hosted browser game on CrazyGames. “99 Nights in the Forest” is a separate Roblox experience. They share a genre, not a client.
Where do I play it?
The CrazyGames listing is the main entry. The underlying game also has a direct Bloxd page: bloxd.io/play/escape-the-forest. The direct lobby loaded in testing; quick match still hit the Cloudflare gate.
Is it free?
Yes. The browser build is free to open; the CrazyGames page also lists Premium Perks and app-store listings, which are optional. This guide does not sell anything.
Is it multiplayer?
Yes. The official description says other players are in the forest, cooperation matters, and you can revive yourself, revive others, or be revived. The exact party size and matchmaking rules are not published on the listing.
What is the goal?
Survive 99 nights. The official description adds: keep the fire alive, gather during daylight, build defenses, and rescue missing children across the forest. The listing does not publish a night length or a full ending sequence.
What kills you?
Two confirmed hazards from the official description: wild boars during the day, which drain energy and can end a run, and forest spirits after dark. The fire’s boundary is described as the protective zone. Exact damage values are not published.
Does it work on mobile?
The listing says browser desktop, mobile, and tablet, plus the CrazyGames app and Bloxd iOS/Android apps. It does not publish a touch-control diagram, so this guide does not pretend the desktop keys map one-to-one to touch.
Can I play solo?
The game is described as multiplayer, but the listing does not say whether a private solo lobby is supported. Do not assume “solo” means the difficulty is rebalanced. This is unverified.
Does my progress save?
The CrazyGames guest banner warns that progress will not be saved. The direct Bloxd lobby also showed a “log in to save progress” prompt. Logging in is optional; this guide does not require an account.
What are the controls?
WASD/arrows move, Shift runs, hold left click breaks, tap left click attacks, right click places/uses, Tab opens inventory, B opens the shop, O opens the menu. The full table is on Controls.
Why does this site say “unverified” so often?
Because the browser entry was blocked by a Cloudflare human check during the first test window. The developer listing is a strong source for systems and controls, but it is not a substitute for playing the build. Pages that need a live match stay marked.
Can I send a correction?
Yes: Contact. Include the page URL, the sentence, and a screenshot or reproducible step.
